Glenn Thompson

August 14, 1944 - June 29, 2013

Glenn Leroy Thompson, age 68 of MWC passed away June 28, 2013 leaving his wife Robyn Bestul Thompson of the home, 2 sons: Glenn Todd Thompson, and James Thompson, his wife Becky and their 2 children Jacob and Andrew, and one daughter Allison, her husband Kyle Youngblood and their 3 children, Brittany, Austin and Kyla all of Meeker. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents James and Gladys Thompson, a sister Molly and a sister Judy. He has 1 brother Dean Thompson and his wife Rosie of St. Louis. Two step daughters, Rayanne Marie Anderson of El Dorado Ark. Rayanne"s daughter Christine and her husband Chad Jones of Strong, Ark., and Shannon Leigh and her husband Aaron Wall of Dallas, Tex. Glenn has many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a large extended family who miss him. Glenn was born in Watertown, South Dakota and served his country in the USAF before his employment at the United States Post office (Main) Oklahoma City prior to retiring in 2009. He was a member of the American Legion post 73 in Del City for 18 years. He acquired many, many good friends who will miss him very much. The viewing will be from 8 am until 8 pm Monday July 1, at Barnes Friedrich Funeral Home 1820 S. Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Tuesday July 2 at Barnes Friedrich Funeral Home. Followed by procession to gravesite services at Sunnylane Cemetary at 29th and Sunnylane.
