Mary Elizabeth Sullivan

September 25, 1936 - September 18, 2016

Mary Elizabeth Sullivan loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and so much more to so many, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the age of 79. Mary the oldest of nine children was born September 25, 1936, in Anadarko, Okla. to the late Paul and Genevieve Stotler. In 1961, little did she know that she would meet the love of her life while on a double date with a friend whose date was Carl Sullivan. Carl and Mary fell in love and were married on July 15, 1961 and for 55 years they shared their life together raising their two children, Jim and Kathy. During her life, she selflessly served her Lord in many ways at St Paul's Catholic Church and her community thru PTA, Kiwanis and The Neighborhood Association. Whether it was from her beautiful smile or through her homemade cinnamon rolls, she always made friends and family feel special. Everyone who met Mary could not help but love her. She truly was a Proverbs 31 woman. Mary leaves behind her loving husband, Carl Sullivan; daughter, Mary Kathleen Sullivan; son, Jim Sullivan and wife LaRita; 3 grandchildren, Caytlin Sullivan, Erin and husband (Steven Hurdle), and Sean Sullivan; 3 great-grandchildren Calin Johnson, Conner Johnson and Zachary Sullivan-Hurdle; 8 siblings and their spouses, Larry and wife Anna Mae Stotler, Ronald and wife Cleta Stotler, Johanna and husband Tom Lucas, Alice and husband Matt Stupak, Carolyn Goodhue, Karen Kuhns, Victor and wife Teresa Stotler, and Pat and wife Elizabeth Stotler as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Paul Ladies Group.
