Jacqueline "Jackie" Sue Smith

January 29, 1933 - March 2, 2020

Jacqueline Sue Smith was born January 29, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed from this life March 2, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 87. Jackie was a lifetime resident of Oklahoma and had lived in Del City since 1960. She had worked as an elevator operator for Liberty National Bank and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward; her parents, Percy and Zella Vanderberg; granddaughter, Emily Javadi; and brothers Bruce and Donald Vanderberg. Jackie is survived by her children, Karen Javadi and husband Michael of Austin, Texas, Debbie Countryman and husband Jeff of Oklahoma City, and son Michael Smith of Moore; grandchildren, Dylan Smith of Oklahoma City and Adrienne Javadi of Austin; siblings, Shirley Slayton and JoAnn Chesher of Oklahoma City, Steve Vanderberg of Yukon and Linda Golden of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm. Graveside services will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 at 1pm at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
