Jerry Earlene Mowles

September 3, 1929 - February 13, 2008

Jerry Earlene Mowles, 78, of OKC, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, February 13, 2008. Jerry was born in OKC on September 3, 1929. She was a retired restaurant and business owner. Jerry has spent the years following retirement as a volunteer and became a resident of St Anns Nursing Home in August, 2007. She was also an active member of the church at St. Anns. Jerry is preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Flossie Snow and her husband Clarence Mowles She is survived by her four children, Terri Irvin of Yukon, Susie Phillips and husband Herb of Midwest City, Barney Clements of OKC, Tom Clements and wife Patricia of OKC; 3 sisters: Betty Snow-Price of Lubbock, TX, Patty Sue Douglas, Del City and Carolyn Snow of Ft. Worth, TX. Jerry has 8 granchildren: Cari Lynn Wilburn & spouse John, Billie Sue Smith, Jessica & Megan Sykes, Micheal Phillips & spouse Jeannie, Sean Phillips, Jeffrey Phillips and Samantha Clements, 7 great grandchildren, Wesley, Reagan, Avery, Dani, Seth, Sawyer, Cali and a host of other family & friends who meant the world to her. Viewing will be held at Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home, Sunday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family followed by an open memorial service on Monday, Feburary 18, 2008 at St. Anns Chapel at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anns Nursing Home, 9400 St. Anns Drive, OKC, OK. 73162. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all of the 'Angels' at St. Anns Nursing Home for all the love and support we received during this illness.
