William Bryant Morris

Another of God's children has gone home to be with him. Libby passed from this life into eternal life June 11, 2014 after an extended illness. Libby was born in Pageland, SC February 7, 1937, to Robert Coleman Jordan Jr. and Mary Sutton Jordan Clark. She is preceded in death by both parents, step-father, Lee Fetzer Clark, brother, Robert Coleman Jordan III, step-brother, James Clark, and step-sister Mary Jewel Cook. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William B. (Bill) Morris of the home, son, Lee Howard Morris, daughter, Kimberly Michelle Morris-Butler and husband Chris Butler, granddaughters, Michelle Blair Butler and Rachel Grace Butler, sisters-in-law, Betty Gail Scrimgeour and Billie Morris Jordan, step-brother, Pete Clark and wife Marie Clark, and step-sister-in-law Carolyn Clark. Libby grew up in Kannapolis, NC where her father operated a grocery store. She graduated from A.L Brown High School in 1955 with an all "A" average and 12 years perfect attendance. She also attended business school in Kannapolis. After moving with her husband during 28 years of USAF assignments, the family settled in Oklahoma City, OK. Libby was a soloist and accomplished musician (piano and organ). She loved singing and playing in church and for singing groups and other soloists. Her love of God was evident in her life and personal relationships. She retired from Tinker Federal Credit Union after 25 years as a teller, Administrative Assistant to Director of Human Resources, and Executive Administrative Assistant to the President and Board of Directors. She was known for her friendly, loving and lovable outgoing personality with a smile for everyone. She is greatly missed. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 15 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Services will be conducted by Ford Funeral Services will be held at Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church, SE 31st and Holiday Drive, Monday June 16, 2014 Del City, OK. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church Building Fund or to donors' favorite charity.
