Robert M. Moore

Robert M. Moore, age 62, died on Thursday May 19, 2005, following a battle with cancer. He was born February 6, 1943, in Madera, CA. to the late Hazel and Robert Moore. Robert graduated from Central High School in 1961. Mr. Moore faithfully worked for Frito-Lay as a route salesman for 28 years. Over these years he came in contact with many people. He was easy to work with and friendly to all. Early on he spent a lot of time at the Salvation Army and began a deep love for basketball and fast pitch softball. Later on in life he exercised his competitiveness through playing golf. Robert is survived by his children Terri Pittman and Robert Dean Moore (OKC); Jean Jackson and husband Rob, Joyce Moore, and Mary Edenshaw and husband Doug (Klawock, Alaska); Chris Moore and wife Mikki (Del City); and eight grandchildren; a sister Mary Vitatoe and husband Robert (Bridge Creek); an aunt Grace Tate and husband Harold (Nicoma Park) and an uncle Herb Norton and wife Faye (OKC). He is further survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends. Funeral services for Robert will be conducted by Ford Funeral Service at 10:00am, Monday, May 23, at Sooner Baptist Church, 5824 SE 15th Street. Internment will be at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
