Nancy Carol Mayes

Nancy Carol Mayes, 65, of Oklahoma City, died October 25, 2003 following a short illness. She was born April 19, 1938 in OKC to Gene and Eula Anthony. Nancy recently retired after 29 years of service with OKC Public Schools. She was very active with Jesus and friends at Crest Baptist Church in Midwest City. All will miss her. Nancy's happiest years were with husband Jim Mayes. She is also survived by mother Eula Anthony of Del City, sister Rita Hurst and husband Mike of OKC, son Terry Cannon and wife Sheila of Norman, daughter Jackie Price and husband Dwight of Del City, son James Mayes of Del City, great granddaughter Shayla Cannon of the home, Aunt Wanda Adams of Vian, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many other loved ones. Her life and energy will be honored at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 28, with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
