James David Izell

April 24, 1942 - December 12, 2012

James David Izell Obituary Izell, James David, 70, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 12, 2012. James was born on April 24, 1942 in Harrah, Oklahoma, to James Furd and Delia Irene (Griffin) Izell. James served his country in Vietnam as a Navy Seabee. He was a trim carpenter the rest of his professional life and made absolutely beautiful things out of wood. James was preceded in death by his two parents. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pat, sons David and Steve, daughters- in- law Sherry and Tracy, sister Barbara Reichert and brother-in-law Don, two granddaughters, niece, and nephew. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held at Barnes and Friederich Funeral Home on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the family receiving visitors from 6:00-800 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be sent to the music program of the First Baptist Church, Nicoma Park, OK.
