Harris L. Henson

February 28, 1941 - October 12, 2020

Harris Lee Henson was born February 28, 1941, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Eugene Lee "Nick" and Anna Belle (Crim) Henson. He passed from this life on October 12, 2020, in Edmond, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years. Harris was raised in Midwest City and was a graduate of Midwest City High School. He also attended the University of Oklahoma, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Harris was a member of the Church of Christ and he worked for Prince Valve, Inc. in Norman, OK for many years. Harris was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sandra, sister Delores Smith and twin sons, Gavin and Kevin Henson. He is survived by his son, Hoyt Henson and wife Teresa, and stepson, David Daniel O’Dell and wife Teresa, and his grandchildren, Savanna, Cierra, Travis and Paige. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Del City. Services will be held Friday, October 23, at 2:00 pm at Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City.
