Betty J. Gaines

GAINES Our beloved wife, mother and "Me ma," Betty J. Gaines, 68, went to her heavenly home on Dec. 11, 2000. She was born to Clarence Ray and Lydia (Mackelmann) Owen, in Okla. City, OK, on Oct. 21, 1932. Betty was retired from Lucent Technologies after 32 years, and a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene. She was predeceased by her parents, a son, Gerrell Gaines, and brother, Clarence Owen. She is survived by her husband, James F. Gaines; daughters, Tawanna Thompson & husband, Thomas, and Jamie Murray & husband, Randy; and sister, Barbara Hinkle. Her life was filled with love by her grandchildren, Kimberly Radich & husband, Paul, Stephanie, Stacey & Nick Murray, and Matthew & Sarah Thompson; and numerous other family members. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church of the Nazarene. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wed., Dec. 13, at Calvary Church of the Nazarene, with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK. MERCER - ADAMS
