Freddie Lucille Wooten Fulks

October 3, 1933 - February 6, 2018

Freddie Lucille Wooten Fulks, 84, of Purcell, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at her home. The daughter of John Burl Newsom and Mary Irene (Henderson) Newsom, she was born October 3, 1933, in Doddsville, Mississippi.
Freddie was a homemaker and was a member of Friends Church in Dibble. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, bowling, playing bingo, and gardening. Freddie loved her family above all else. She was very involved in her children's lives and supported them in various sporting events and activities as they were growing up. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Nathan L. "Buddy" Wooten; her second husband, Ben Fulks; one son, Steve; one daughter, Nancy; two sisters, Bonnie and Willie Jo; and two brothers, Bruce and Kenny.
Freddie is survived by one daughter, Rena George and husband, Toni, of Purcell; three sons, Teddy Wooten and wife, Angela, of Dibble, Ricky Wooten and wife, Lee Ann, of McLoud, and Burl Wooten and wife, Donna, of Blanchard; twenty grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Newsom of Blanchard, and Dell Taubert of Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, J.B. Newsom and wife, Kay, of Dibble, and Travis "Red" Newsom and wife, Glenda, of Dibble; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 12, 2018, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Burial will follow in Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
