Lovina Ruby Frizzell
April 11, 1925 - August 15, 2020
Lovina Ruby Frizzell, 95, of Newcastle, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020, in Tuttle. She had been a resident of the Tuttle Care Center for the past 3 1/2 years. She was born April 11, 1925, in Binger, Oklahoma, to Elwon Lell Cyphers and Annie Augusta (Waldrop) Cyphers.
She married Joseph T. Frizzell on November 24, 1942 and to this union two sons were born, James T. Frizzell and John E. Frizzell. She was a mother first, raising her sons in a clean and neat home, hovering over them like a "Mother Hen." She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her family.
Lovina was a charter member of Jesus Alive Church in Newcastle. She loved her church and all its members. In her spare time, she enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family and friends. She made friends and was loved everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; two brothers; and her husband.
Lovina is survived by her two sons, James T. Frizzell and John E. Frizzell and wife, Cindy, all of Newcastle; four grandchildren, Rhonda Emberlin and husband, Wes, Rodney Frizzell and wife, Tammy, Richard Frizzell, and Scott Frizzell, all of Newcastle; four great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Jesus Alive Church in Newcastle. Burial will follow in the Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City.
