Isabel Flores

February 29, 1948 - June 23, 2010

Flores, Isabel, 62, of Midwest City, died June 23, 2010 with her family by her bedside. Born February 29, 1948 in Cordoba, Spain to Carmen Benitez Cortez and Manuel Pons Leon. Isabel grew up in Spain, and moved to the United States after marrying her husband of 43 years, USAF Ret. Refugio Flores. Isabel enjoyed her flowers and plants and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her mother Carmen, husband Refugio, children Manuel, Mercedes, Mark and Richard, 5 sisters and 1 brother. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 8 AM to 5 PM with a Prayer Vigil held that evening at 7 PM, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Midwest City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip Neri, 10 AM, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK.
