Martha Jane Cunningham

February 28, 1929 - March 4, 2020

On 4th, March, 2020 Martha Jane Cunningham went to be with her Lord and Savior, welcomed by the arms of Jesus. This amazing woman has been a wonderful mother, grand and great grand mother and dear friend to us all. She was full of grace and courage in her battle with cancer, never losing her wit and humor.
She lived every day to the fullest, loving God, her family and many, many dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Selwyn Cunningham and her parents Paul and Muriel Egger.
Jane was born in Haskell, OK on 2-28-1929 and growing up she lived with her parents and many other relatives, moving approximately 23 times until she settled with her husband in Fort Worth, TX and later Midwest City, OK.
She is survived by her children, Jim Cunningham and wife Jill of Bozeman, MT, Donna Johnson of Midwest City, OK, and Steve Cunningham and wife Lucy of Midwest City, OK; her grandchildren Ronnie Johnson and wife Andrea, Adam Johnson and Laura; and 7 great grandchildren, all of Del City, OK.
Jane retired from Tinker Air Force Base from contracting and thoroughly enjoyed her retirement years. She began traveling, volunteering, reading, playing games with friends and making beautiful quilts and blankets.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 at Sunny Lane Cemetery at 3:00 PM with Bill Spain officiating.
A memorial service will be held at Sooner Baptist Church on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
