Troy Wilford Clymer

April 19, 1923 - December 30, 2016

Troy Wilford Clymer, 93, crossed into Heaven's Gates on December 30, 2016. He was born on April 19, 1923 in Cedar Creek, AR to Joe Henry and Hattie Jane (Jones) Clymer.
When Troy was younger, he became very good at the jitterbug and could often be found listening to country music, or watching old westerns and Hee Haw. Troy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and OU football. He loved taking trips to the ocean, Branson, MO and spending time with his beloved family. He was very proud of his service in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Anytime there was a prayer request, Troy, would always speak up and ask everyone to pray for our veterans. He was a member of both the American Legion and VFW.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Wynema; siblings, Mable, Eunice, Betty Jo, Lela, Lenia, Ellis "Cutter," Charles Lee and Paul Edward. Survivors include his children, Steve Clymer (Lori), Dan Clymer (Jackie), Tom Clymer (Tammy), Joy Keeslar (Daniel), Jane Edwards (Darrel); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the South Lindsay Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
