Arley W. Childers

Arley W. Childers of Moore died Monday, November 17, 1997.
He was born July 14, 1937, in Okmulgee to Cecil and Hattie (Parker) Childers. He married Janell Purdom on November 20, 1987, in Del City and liked to restore old cars as a hobby.
Childers is survived by his wife Janell of the home; a son, David of Moore; a daughter, Shelli Thomas of Moore; four step - children, Brent Purdom of Oklahoma City, Brenda Duigman of Las Vegas, Briggitt Blanton of Ennis, Texas, and Brandi Casteel of Moore; a granddaughter, Rae Linn Simms; two sisters; and four step - grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Margurette; three brothers; and a sister.
Services were at 10 AM Thursday under the direction of Bill Eisenhour S. E. Chapel with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
