Larry Raymond Brooks

May 16, 1966 - December 13, 2008

Larry Raymond Brooks, 42 of Del City, OK passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2008. Larry was born to Frederick and Julia Brooks on May 16, 1966 in Wrightstown, NJ. Larry played football at Carl Albert High School, and after graduation, he attended Rose State College. He was a floor tile installer and worked for Big John's Tile Company for many years. Larry had a gentle spirit and a good sense of humor. He was very artistic and was an avid OU fan. Larry enjoyed spending large amounts of time with his family, which he loved dearly. Larry was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Stephen F. Brooks. Larry is survived by his daughter, Brittany Brooks and her mother Melissa Brooks, mother: Julia, sister: Barbara Seaman and husband Steve, nieces: April Burns and Caitlin Seaman, nephews: Stephen Seaman and Ryan Seaman, great nephews: Tyler Burns and Connor Burns, special aunt: Ellen Geib, best friend and companion: his dog, Deuce. Visitation is 8 AM to 8 PM, Wednesday, December 17, 2008; formal visitation where the family will be receiving friends is 7 PM to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be held 10 AM, Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK.
