Kevin C. Branch

November 25, 1985 - May 10, 2020

Kevin C. Branch was born November 25, 1985, at Langley AFB, Virginia to Ernest L. & Carolyn E. Branch. Kevin was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of Sunday May 10, 2020. He sadly passed away at OU Medical Center as a result of a car accident on Mother's Day.
From the moment of his birth, Kevin could be described as a bright light to his family. The youngest of 3. His 2 older sisters were 13 months apart while he was 13 years from the youngest sister. He attended Parkview Elementary, Kerr Middle School and Del City High School where he graduated in 2004.
Kevin demonstrated an amazing skill in computer programming and computer operations from an early age, such that he was enrolled in Vo-tech courses in junior high. He went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. Although, Kevin was proud of the fact that he was offered a job right out of college, he was not yet ready to follow that path. He instead, preferred the flexibility that working in the food service industry allowed...where in his words he made all the money he needed and could make his own schedule.
Last year, Kevin decided to make a complete career change. Just 2 months ago he also decided to add Peyton, a rescue dog, to his family. He'd moved into a new house. His family members were so happy for him and all the promise that the future held. He was just beginning this new chapter in his life when he was called to be with the Lord.
We know that he is in a better place but will miss him every day. He was a son, a baby brother, an uncle, and a friend, and according to his coworkers an exceptional employee. His spirit is still with us and always will be.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Branch (of Richmond, VA), his maternal grandfather & grandmother, William & Mary T. Fisher (of Petersburg, VA), & aunt, Donnie Branch (of Richmond, VA).
He is survived by his father & mother Ernest & Carolyn Branch (of Oklahoma City, OK), sister Tamara (Branch) Smith & husband Anthony (of Owasso, OK), sister, Margo Branch (of Atlanta, GA), nephews; Kyl & Aedan Smith (of Owasso, OK), uncle, William O. Fisher & wife Phyllis (of Petersburg, VA), aunt Betty Taylor & late husband Joseph (of Richmond, VA), uncle Dennis Branch (of Richmond, VA) and a host of other precious and loved family members.
Due to COVID-19, we are only allowed a maximum of 90 people to attend the funeral. For those unable to attend, the service will be available for viewing on Facebook Live.
