Raymond K. Adams

September 20, 1934 - January 28, 2021

Raymond K. Adams, 86, died January 28, 2021 in OKC. He was born September 20, 1934 in OKC to Raymond K. Adams, Sr. and Lucille M. (Short) Adams. He married Frances June Cochran on October 7, 1966 in OKC and they shared 50 wonderful years together. He retired from the Bureau of Vital Statistics for the state of Oklahoma. Raymond was a longtime member of the OKC First Church of the Nazarene. He was an avid OU football fan. He will truly be missed by his daughter who affectionately called him "daddy" all of her life.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, June, and sister, Harriett Wilmoth. He was survived by his loving daughter, Angela.
Viewing will be Friday, 9am-8pm with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Saturday, February 6, 1:00pm at OKC First Church of the Nazarene where he was a longtime member. Interment following in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK.
