Lonnie Leon Abrams

December 20, 1940 - August 5, 2014

Lonnie Leon Abrams, 73, passed away on August 5, 2014. He was born December 20, 1940 in Newalla, Oklahoma, to Joe and Beulah Abrams. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1959. Lonnie was a master electrician for over 50 years. He enjoyed being outdoors; spoiling his dogs; working on his cars, motorcycles, and boats; gardening; and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Leona Abrams, his son Alan, daughter Lisa and husband Tim Wentzel, granddaughter Carsyn, sister Peggy, and brother C.L., many nieces and nephews, and his two constant companions Silky and Buddy. Visitation will be Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 5-8pm at Ford Funeral Service in Midwest City. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 8, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.fordfuneral.com
