Rebecca Anne Steed

February 27, 1959 - February 21, 2012

Rebecca "Becky" Anne (Lee) Steed, 52, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday night, February 21, 2012. She was born in Oklahoma City on February 27, 1959 to Johney and Gwindolyn (Rozelle) Lee. Becky graduated from Wellston High School. She was preceded in death by her parents. Becky is survived by her husband of 25 years, Frank Steed and their daughter Whitney, of the home; stepson Stephen and wife Anita; two sisters: Debbie Lee and husband Larry Bean of MWC; Kathy Bailey and husband Aaron of MWC; two brothers: Johney Lee, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Kingfisher; Jim Lee and wife Colette of Colorado; a sister-in-law, Alonna Steed of Del City; two brothers-in-law: Luther "Chip" Steed and wife Leslie of Del City; Kenny Steed and wife Cressa of Del City; two grandchildren: Cierra Steed and Drake Steed; two great-grandchildren: Lily Clarie and Marcos; nieces and nephews: Chris, Reanna, Heather, Amanda, JT, Jamie, Jennifer, Rebekah, Daniel, Rachel, Johnny, Jackie, AJ, Kyle, Eli, Matt, Jacey, Dawan, Ian, Sydney, Zepplin Rain, Jonathan, Allie, Kara, TJ, and Ethen as well as many great-nieces and nephews, extended family members and many, many friends. Becky worked for many years at the OU Hospitals complex and was working with the City of Oklahoma City Permits Dept. at the time of her passing. Becky touched the lives of every person she came in contact with. Her smile and laugh were infectious. She will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 11 am, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 9805 NE 10th St, Midwest City, with burial to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
