Ronald Everett Wilkson

December 4, 1960 - October 23, 2016

Ronald Everett Wilkson, 55, was born December 4, 1960 in Winter Park, Florida to Jess Wilkson and Evelyn (Blankenship). He passed away with his wife together October 23, 2016 at his home in Luther.

Ron and his wife Kay were great parents to their four children. They loved their grandchildren who were the light of their lives. Ron was a truck driver and lawn care specialist who obsessed with his lawn. They together often joked about who would leave this life first and what the other was to do in their absence. In the end, they both got their wish and were able to go to heaven together.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Blankenship; and his daughter, Nicole Fitzgerald. He is survived by his father, Jess Don Wilkson; sisters, Catherine Coover of Carney, Brenda Danker of Wellston, and Joni Harding of Colorado Springs. Together Ron and Kay were preceded in death by their grandbabies, Jesse Wilkson and Rozie Wilkson. They are survived by their children, Donald Wilkson of Ada, Cassie Sproul of Paden, Shawn Wilkson of Luther, Evelyn Prince of Luther; (23) grandchildren; other family and many friends.

A funeral will be held at 2:00 Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Luther Auditorium with burial following at a later date in the Luther Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
