Chauncy Dakota Beard

June 7, 1994 - February 7, 2016

Chauncy Dakota Beard, 21, was born June 7, 1994 in Lawton to Eldon Beard and Deede Thompson. He passed away following a traffic accident February 7, 2016 in Norman. Chauncy loved his wife and daughters and enjoyed laughing and having a good time. He enjoyed basketball and football, especially the Denver Broncos. His favorite pastime was playing PlayStation with Devion, Alex and his brothers. Chauncy enjoyed working out, trying his luck at the casino, loud music, and his Michael Jordan shoes which he called his J's. Most of all he loved being around family and friends.

Chauncy was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Darrell Thompson, Rudy Harrison, Jerry Dotson; and aunt, Donna Blessing. Survivors include his wife, Nicole Azimi of the home; daughters, Cheyenne and Iohla; parents, Eldon Beard and Deede Thompson of the home; siblings, Sabastian Thompson, Rudee Beard; grandparents, Lucy Dotson, Patricia Burgess, Dean and Elizabeth Morlan; other family and a host of friends.

A wake will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11 at the First Baptist Church of Luther. A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 12 at the Luther Auditorium with interment following in the Luther Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
