Father of Fire Victims Sought

The Red Cross Friday night was searching for an army air corps private to advise him that five of his six children had perished in a fire which destroyed his home near Spencer. Only Danny, his 7-year old son, and his wife, remain of the family of eight. Priv. Clifford Truelove left Wednesday night when he started back to Hammer field, Fresno, Calif.

Clifford Jr., 2 months old; Edward and Edwina, 16 month old twins; Patsy, 3 1/2 years old, and Margaret, 5 years old, perished in the flames that destroyed the four room home three miles northeast of Spencer, Friday at 8:30 a.m. as Mrs. Truelove, Danny, and Mrs. truelove's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.M. Waller, stood helplessly by.

Red Cross officials her said Mrs. Truelove would be given emergency rehadilitation service. mrs. Truelove was spending the night with her parents at whose home she was visiting when the fire of undetermined origin, was discovered.

Truelove had been visiting his family since the middle of February and left Wednesday to return to his station.
