Karen Ann Whittington

Karen Ann Whittington, age 45, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away July 6, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on August 31, 1966, in Wellington Kansas, to Delbert J. Perry, Sr. and Mary R. (Warren) Perry.
Karen grew up in Winfield, Kansas, lived in Midwest City, Oklahoma for the past year and a half moving there from Southwest Oklahoma City. She married John (Jack) Whittington on August 9, 1990 in Elk City, Oklahoma. Karen was employeed with Arby's for 14 years. She loved to roller skate, reading and playing solitaire.
Survivors include her husband John (Jack), parents Delbert and Mary Perry of Winfield, KS, sister Tammy Schultz and husband Pat of Winfield, KS, brother Delbert Perry, Jr. and wife Lisa of Winfield, KS, brother Jerald Perry and wife Cissy of Lawton, OK, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.She is also survived by her beloved dog Sammy.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the Hayes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Blake Orr officiating. Burial will follow at Christner Cemetery, Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 9:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.
