Sylvan Dwight Wilkinson

June 10, 1931 - January 31, 2007

Sylvan Dwight 'Dee' Wilkinson was born on June 10, 1931, in Mountain Park, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in Seminole, Oklahoma, at the age of 75.
Dee, the son of Lewis Henry and Alpha McClanahan Wilkinson, was a resident of Paden, Oklahoma. He married Joyce E. Williams on September 29, 1954 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Dee served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Allied Roofing in Stroud for 15 years and was a truck driver, farmer, and rancher. Dee was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paden. His parents, two brothers, and two sons preceded Dee in death.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Joyce Wilkinson of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Cheryl Wilkinson of Paden; daughters and son-in-law, Nita Bluford of Danville, AR, Susan and John Davenport of Paden; and 7 Grandchildren.
