Polly Vevurka

May 14, 1925 - June 22, 2012

Polly Vevurka, 87, of Midwest City, Ok died June 21, 2012. She was born May 14, 1925 in Okemah, Ok to Leonard and Lola Roberts. She enjoyed country, swing and ballroom dancing. She met the love of her life, Mike, on a dance floor and married a short time later. They were married for 66 wonderful years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, painting, golf and was a member in various golf clubs. She was very proud of her hole-in-one. She is survived by her husband, Mike, daughter, Diana Wagoner and husband Lynn, two sisters, Judy Woodard and JoAnne Slate, 4 grandchildren Mark, Karen, Tracey and Kristin and 5 great-grandchildren Keegan, Cale, James, Stewart and Parker. Funeral service will be held on June 25, 2012, Monday at 10:00 am at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, Ok.
