Eugene W. Urish

June 24, 1920 - August 1, 2012

Eugene William Urish, 92, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on August 1, 2012. Eugene was born June 24, 1920 in Scranton, Kansas to William and Florence Urish. Eugene proudly served our country as a member of the 448th Bomb Group of the United States Air Force during World War II. He retired in 1979 from Tinker AFB. He was married to Jean Little on September 11, 1942. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years, Jean; son, Larry; daughter, Cheryl McCabe and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Sean McCabe, Larissa Smith and husband, Scott, Patti Alvord; brother, Richard Urish and wife, Anita and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law Ellen Urish. Private family service.
