Priscilla Maye Tilley

September 11, 1941 - November 6, 2020

Priscilla Maye Tilley (Allensworth), 79, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away at home on Friday, November 6, 2020 surrounded by her husband and family. Priscilla was born on September 11, 1941 in Rufe, Oklahoma to Leo Jennings Bryan and Dovie Augusta Tollett Allensworth. She had many nicknames throughout her lifetime including "Pris, Prissy, and Pat."
Priscilla graduated from Midwest City High School. She married the love of her life, James "Jim" Earl Tilley, on February 17, 1961 at Country Estates Baptist Church in Midwest City. Throughout their lifetime they lived in Del City, Oklahoma, Lakewood, Colorado, and then back to the area in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Priscilla was known for serving others through cooking especially for her family and church. She enjoyed canning, making Christmas candy for everyone, cooking for events at church and was well known for her historical chocolate gravy recipe. Her and James loved to go on road trip vacations together and discover new places. When they were home though, it was all about spending time with her family.
Priscilla is survived by her loving husband, James Earl Tilley; children Sharon Ergenbright and husband Kevin, Terry Tilley & Kayla New, LaDonna White and husband Barry White; grandchildren Candace Tilley, Maeghan Douthit , Jeremy Douthit, Christopher Ergenbright, Danielle Ergenbright, Hayden White, Blaine White, Kyle Ergenbright, Mallory Tilley, and Mason Tilley; great-grandchildren Avery Mattice, Blake Mattice, Paitynn Douthit, Kooper Douthit, Cash Ergenbright, Tyler White, Carter Ergenbright; and one living sibling her sister Joye Courtwright.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leo and Dovie Allensworth; siblings Lona Allensworth, Flossie Long, Lorene Long, Buster Allensworth, Harve Allensworth, Florene Long, J.B. Long, Baby Allensworth, Kenneth Allensworth, Esther Dixon, Dennis Allensworth, and Della Jean Williams. A visitation will be held Monday, November 9, 2020 from 9am-8pm with family present 5-7pm at Ford Funeral Service. The funeral service is at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Meadowood Baptist Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma with Pastor Bob Rutherford officiating with interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
We would like to thank Sirese, C.J. and Linda at Hospice Quality Care for their amazing care of Priscilla. We would also like to thank Susan Long, Priscilla’s niece, who helped our family through this difficult time more times than we can count, especially the last night.
