Grandma's quilts kept me warm in the winter,
And made a soft bed on the floor.
Grandma's quilts always helped me remember
The lives of those who came before.
Each one more colorful than the last,
Telling its own special story;
Pieced from the scraps of all our pasts,
Sewn together with the threads of love and memory.
