Patricia Ann Gibson Smith

Funeral service for Patricia Ann Gibson Smith was held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 12, 2005 at First Southern Baptist Church of Del City under direction of Barnes and Johnson Funeral Home of Midwest City. Burial was held at Arlington Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith died December 11, 2005.
She was born November 10, 1933 to Alonzo and Daisy Gibson in Purcell, Oklahoma. She was the youngest of nine children. She peacefully closed her eyes to this world to awaken in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
On February 1, 1951 she married James Luey Smith and set up house in Purcell, Oklahoma. She lived her life as a loving, devoted wife and companion for 55 years.
In 1963, the family settled in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She rose through ranks of the First National Bank of Midwest City; where she retired as an Assistant Vice President. As a long time member of First Southern Baptist Church of Del City, she volunteered her service in many areas. She loved her OSU Cowboys, sewing, painting, and bowling.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, James L. (Lou) Smith; Children, Greg and Tina Smith of Edmond, Oklahoma, Tony and Jeannie Smith of Del City, Oklahoma, LuAnn and Danny Zaloudik of Nashville, Tennessee; 9 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren; brother, Malcolm Gibson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and sister, Francis Watson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Daisy Gibson; sisters, Iamo Chander, Glenna Hobgood; brothers, Thomas, Holland, Alonzo Jr. And Loftin Gibson.
Pat's family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to each member of the staff of Midwest Regional Medical Center that touched her life. Your love and compassion will never be forgotten.
