Mark Ray Smith, Jr.

June 10, 1921 - July 14, 2007

MARK R. SMITH, JR. 86, PASSED AWAY JULY 14TH 2007 IN MIDWEST CITY, OK. HE WAS BORN JUNE 10TH, 1921 IN CLEVELAND, OK TO MARK AND LETHA SMITH. HE IS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS PARENTS, A SISTER AND HIS RECENT WIFE, ELLEN. HE SERVED THREE YEARS IN THE NAVY AS AN AVIATOR IN WW II. HE BEGAN WORKING AT TINKER FIELD IN 1947 AS AN INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST AND RETIRED IN 1979. HE IS SURVIVED BY THREE DAUGHTERS AND TWO SON-IN-LAWS, KATHRYN MCBLAIR (TERRY), JANE SMITH AND MARGARET BRANDON (SAM); THREE GRANDSONS, CHEYENNE MCBLAIR, JAKE AND LUKE BRANDON. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD TUESDAY, JULY 17, 2007 AT 2:00 P.M. AT BARNES AND JOHNSON FUNERAL CHAPEL. INTERMENT AT ARLINGTON MEMORIAL GARDENS.
