Emma Pearl Small

April 1, 1935 - August 2, 2020

Emma P. Small, 85, of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away August 2, 2020, surrounded by her adoring children. She was born April 1, 1935, in Augusta, Georgia; youngest child to Lillie Williams Cooper.
It would be wrong to say that Emma "lost" her battle to any disease because she never stopped fighting. She was given much to endure and through her example we learned what faith, resilience and perseverance truly look like. Her faith in God, whom she loved with all her heart, sustained and comforted her. Now her faith has become sight and though we grieve her loss, we rejoice in knowing that she is free of pain and suffering and experiencing an eternal joy we cannot even comprehend.
Emma was happily married for 54 years to the love of her life, Dulen E. Small, who preceded her in death. She was a wonderful wife and mother and a loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was devoted to her family and we remain forever grateful that she was given to us. She is survived by her children Kenneth Small (Kris) and Sandy Small Kellington; grandchildren Adam Small (Devon), Tyler Small (Jennifer), Lindsey Small Hope (Shane) and Robert (Beau) Kellington; great-grandchildren Craven, Jaxon, Braeden, Jude, Hoyt, and Reagan; and sister Elizabeth Cooper Peace, along with many nieces and nephews she dearly loved.
She is predeceased by her husband (Dulen E. Small), her mother (Lillie Cooper), and brother (Claud Cooper).
