Joyce Shelby

June 23, 1935 - August 12, 2022

Joyce Lynn Shelby was born on June 23, 1935 in Salina Kansas to parents Rolan and Hilda Pierce. She met the Lord she had served so faithfully August 12, 2022.
Joyce touched the lives of so many among the Oklahoma Baptist circle. Beginning working with youth, she wore many hats during her years as her ministry changed, but in each role she impacted many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Shelby; her son, Coy (Corky) Shelby Jr; her brother Gary Pierce; and her parents, Rolan and Hilda Pierce.
She is survived by daughter, Kimberly and husband, Michael; daughter in law, Kim Crawford; grandson, Jonathan and wife, Michelle; granddaughters, Jennifer and husband, Dustin; Julie and husband, Chris; great grandsons, Bryson, Chase, Deacon, Easton and Max Pickett; Corbin, Coy and Cooper Davidson; Carsten and Michael Copeland; and great granddaughter Shelby Copeland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to two of Joyce's favorite ministries.
