Kenneth Seebeck
October 28, 1936 - September 12, 2020
Kenneth Ray Seebeck, 83, passed away gently on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020 in Midwest City, OK with the love of his life for 35 years Margie Glasgow by his side. Kenneth was born on Oct. 28, 1936 in Wellston, OK to George H. & Bertha A. Seebeck (deceased). Kenneth was the oldest brother and survivor of 5 children: Kenneth (eldest), Everett, James, Richard, & Betty Jean (all deceased). Kenneth attended Star Spencer School on NE 23rd/Douglas in Midwest City and graduated from Choctaw High School on May 13, 1955. He enlisted in the National Guard on March of 1962 and served as a Military Policeman (Sgt. E5) until March of 1965. His unit received personal commendation from Gov. J. Howard Edmondson for exceptional service. Kenneth met Elizabeth Huffman while working at Boeing in Wichita, KS. They married in 1960 and had 3 sons; Mark (deceased), Bret (Colfax, IA) and Darin (Del City, OK). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Lucas and Eric Seebeck (Bret), and Erica and Andrew Seebeck (Darin). Kenneth moved back to Midwest City & worked at Tinker Field Civil Service in E & I (equipment/inspection) weighing and inspecting B-52 bombers until his early retirement in 1987. Kenneth also married Bobbie Preston for 10 years from 1974-1984 and then divorced. In 1985 Kenneth met Margie Glasgow and stayed together as a couple until his passing. During this time he was a home builder, real state broker & landlord, building many homes in the Mid-Del area and towns nearby. He was an avid garage sale mogul who enjoyed the "Art of the Deal" and spent every week collecting/purchasing treasures. Even so far as to travel to Hawaii and going to garage sales there! Kenneth was a well respected business owner in the Midwest City community and was well liked by many people including renters that he served. Several of whom were in his houses for over 20 years! Kenneth was buried at Arlington Cemetery on Thurs., Sept. 17, 2020, next to his son Mark, brother James Seebeck, and his parents George and Bertha Seebeck.
