Billie Jean Post

August 26, 1931 - July 25, 2022

Billie Jean Sturgis was born on August 26, 1931, at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City. She married Lawrence W. Post on June 9, 1952. As a military family they lived and enjoyed many years of service in Germany. This served both Larry and Jean with many fond memories and long-time friends. Jean and Larry resided in Del City, Oklahoma from 1973 to present time. They were both active members of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Del City. Serving as money counters, Jean in the choir, both were instrumental in starting the youth group at St. Paul's and were active God parents. As a prayerful and devoted Catholic Jean loved going to mass and receiving the blessed sacrament of communion and being with her church family. She missed their much-loved Beagle "Missy." Jean enjoyed and loved her many friends gathered through her life. Jean was a supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Salvation Army. You will be missed Jean.
