Bette Lynn Patterson

March 5, 1953 - December 8, 2008

Bette Lynn Patterson of Midwest City passed away Monday, December 8, 2008 at the age of 55. Bette was born March 5, 1953 in Oklahoma City to Venoy and Monna Beaird. Bette grew up in Midwest City, was a graduate of Midwest City high school and later worked as secretary and assistant teacher for Mid-Del schools. Bette was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Midwest City. She had a love for Falls Creek, plants and flowers, traveling with her husband, spending time with her daughters, sewing, springtime, jewelry, trips to the nail shop, giving gifts and her grand dog, Brooklyn. Most of all, Bette loved her family. Bette was preceded in death by her father, Venoy Beaird; her twin brother, Barry Beaird and nephew, Brent Beaird. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Sam Patterson; daughters: Mandy Busby and Misty Patterson; mother, Monna Beaird; 2 sisters: Barbara Day and Beverly Minnick along with a host of cherished nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Services for Bette will be 10:00 am, Friday, December 12, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Midwest City with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
