Charles Ray Nicholson

January 16, 1936 - July 8, 2010

Charles Ray Nicholson was born 1-16-1936, Oklahoma City at St. Anthony Hospital to Jane Smith and Roy Nicholson. Raised in northeast OKC and graduated from Northeast High School in 1954. After attending OSU he met Paula Nell Roebuck on a blind date. They were married June 6, 1959 and celebrated their 50th anniversary last year. Charlie, an automotive mechanic who specialized in front end alignment and brakes. Charlie enjoyed being an instructor for many years at the Skill Center and Southwest Automotive. He retired from Sears Automotive in 1997. He enjoyed trout fishing and shooting pistols. His biggest joy in life was spending time with his 6 grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Paula; his son and wife, Greg and Roni Nicholson; his daughter and husband, Nanci and Mike Noakes; his sister and husband, Lee Ann and Ray Money; his 6 grandchildren, Maegan, Randi, Shelbi, Zach, Hanna, and Derek. Services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, July 12th at Nicoma Park United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens under the direction of Ford Funeral Service.
