Lavada Joyce (Bruce) Nash

Dec. 31, 1932 - May 31, 2002

Lavada Joyce Nash was born on Dec. 31, 1932 in Seminole, and departed this life on May 31, 2002 in Oklahoma City at the age of 69 years. She was the daughter of Vernon and Bernice (Dodd) Bruce.
She married Oscar Franklin Nash on Sept. 12, 1963, in Del City.
She was a resident of Oklahoma City and a member of Delcrest Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Billy King; and one step-daughter, Margaret Wilhite.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosella King of Oklahoma City; a son, Howard King of Oklahoma City; a stepdaughter, Lynnette Storms of Winlock, Wash.; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; three brothers; and two sisters.
Services were held June 5 at the Baggerly-South Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Arlington Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Baggerly-South Funeral Home.
