Fern Murray

September 11, 1923 - January 17, 2013

Murray, Fern Louise, 89, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born September 11, 1923 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Jess and Goldie (Byford) Wiggins.
Fern loved gardening and taking care of her children.
Fern is survived by one daughter, Donna Smith of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Arlee Wiggins and wife Foncille of Norman, Freddie Wiggins and wife Joyce of Norman and Sonny Wiggins and wife LaWanda of Quinton; one sister, Peggy Phillips and husband Elmer of Norman; daughter-in-law, Gloria Murray; grandchildren, Jera Lynn Whitlaw, Joe Perrin, Jill Parrott, Tonya Regentz, Jena Dee Rundus, Chad Murray; twelve great grandchildren; and special friend, Lori Beck. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Murray; son, Jerry Murray; two brothers, Donald and James Wiggins; and two sisters, Dorothy Phillips and Carolyn Blair.
The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Havenbrook Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma . Arrangements for Fern and her family were placed in the care of the Vice Family at Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
