Alva Deane Moore

November 22, 1936 - November 9, 2008

Alva D. Moore, 71 of Midwest City, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008. He was born to William Alfred and Kizzi Elsie (Thrasher) Moore on Nov. 22, 1936 in Holcomb, MO. Alva D. retired from the U.S. Air Force as an explosives ordinance disposal superintendent with the rank of MSGT. Alva D. was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. He married Terri Parsons on July 7, 1979 in Midwest City, OK. He is survived by his wife Terri, 3 sons: Michael L., Roger N. and Michael W. Moore; 3 daughters: Paula Montgomery, Kimberly Blackwell and Lisa Eikanas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 brothers: Austin, Ervin, and Perry Moore; 2 sisters: Alice Moore, and Jane Corrigan, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Hiramy Moore. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, 11/13/2008 at the Arlington Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.
