William H. McMahan

WILLIAM "BILL" H., of Midwest City passed away July 2, 2005 at Midwest Regional Medical Center. He was born in Navina, OK, on June 11, 1926 to Alonzo L. and Bessie M. McMahan. He grew up on a farm in Cashion, OK. He retired as a Production Planner at Tinker Air Force Base in 1980 after 37 years, which included his military service with the U. S. Army and 45th Army Division. He married Lorene A. Adams on Nov. 6, 1948; they were married for 56 years. He achieved his 32nd Degree with the Masonic Lodge of Midwest City on May 28, 1990. As a member of the First Christian Church of Midwest City, he actively served his church and community. He was preceeded in death by his parents; his brother, Marvin L. McMahan; and his sisters Wanda M. Maker and Feary June McMahan. He is survived by his wife, Lorene; his daughter, Sue L. Dorsey and husband, Dan of Choctaw; his son, Bill McMahan, Jr. and wife, Sandy L. of Midwest City; and granddaughters, Christi D. and husband, Asher Killian of Norman, Becky L. McMahan of Midwest City and Angie M. McMahan of Midwest City; and other relatives. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at First Christian Church of Midwest City under the direction of Ford Funeral Service with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens. Rev. Les Brown and Rev. Don Gibson will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to First Christian Church of Midwest City or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma City.
