Steven Wade McFarland

September 6, 1948 - August 15, 2013

Steven W. McFarland, 64, of Midwest City, OK, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013. He was born Sept. 6, 1948 in OKC, OK. He is survived by his mother Pat, wife, Frances and children, Matthew, Hayley and Dillon. He is also survived by a sister, Linda and husband Charles McDade and a brother, Edsel and wife, Wanda McFarland. He was preceded in death by his father, Wade McFarland. He was a veteran of the US Army, employed for many years at Baptist Hospital then Deaconess Hospital as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. He graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1966 and earned a degree in Nuclear Med at George Washington University. He was a gifted musician enjoying playing guitar and singing. Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, August 19, 2013 at Soldier Creek Baptist Church 9020 SE 15th Midwest, OK interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
