Floyd Thomas Mason

August 17, 1938 - August 11, 2013

Mason, Floyd Thomas "Tom", 74, of Oklahoma City died August 11, 2013. Born August 17, 1938 in Pocahontas, VA to Ruby Tibbs Mason and John "Harvey" Mason. Tom graduated high school at age 16. He got his undergraduate at West Virginia University and his Masters from Pepperdine University. He loved sports and his family. He dedicated his entire life to the military and Veterans Administration. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Tibbs Mason and John Harvey Mason, sister Cleda Fleshman, and son Glynn McCann. Tom is survived by his loving wife Gloria Mason; one brother John H. Mason wife Sadie; two daughters Kelly Mason and Leeann Mason; Four sons Eddie McCann, Tommy Mason, Ryan Rider, and Andy Mason, 5 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Wednesday, August 14th at the Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Arlington Memory Gardens.
