Alice Marcella Martin

November 22, 1932 - December 22, 2016

Alice Marcella Martin, 85 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away December 22, 2016 in Oklahoma City, OK. Born November 22, 1931 in Marietta, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Charlie Hughes and Netty (Clay) Hughes. Alice was a longtime member of Southside Missionary Baptist Church and loved going to church. She loved reading her bible; going out to eat; loving all babies; and especially spending time with her family. Survivors include 1 son, Roy and his wife Laura Martin, Jr. of Del City, OK; 1 step-son, Nathaniel Paul Martin of California; 2 step-daughters, Virginia Lee Easter of OKC; and Donnitta Norfleet of OKC; 4 granddaughters; 3 great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Carolyn Morgan of Marietta, OK: Rosemary Brown of Marietta, OK; and "Tiny" Moore of Marietta, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73141 with Pastor Marc A. Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens with services under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home.
