Jimmie D. Little

March 3, 1928 - June 28, 2009

Jimmie D Little 81 passed away June 28, 2009 at Norman Veterans Center. Born in Coalgate, OK to Zelmer and Frances Little on March 3, 1928. Jimmie joined the USAF where he served 10 years then later retired from Tinker Air Force Base where he was an aircraft mechanic and worked on B-52s. Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Erma Brockett, granddaughter Peggy Taylor, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lucille, daughters: Shirley Knight and husband JD, Sharon Dillon, Betty and husband Jim Miller, grandchildren: Lorrie Breedlove, Sandy Bearden, Tony, James and Brandy Kingery, Terry, Joshua and Piper Dillon, and Tommy and Krickett Brockett, sister: Irene Reed and many other great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 10 AM at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
