Washington McDonald "Jack" Knight

December 21, 1923 - April 21, 2013

Washington McDonald 'Jack' Knight was born on December 21, 1923, in Magazine, Arkansas, and departed this life on Sunday, April 21, 2013, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 89.
Jack, the son of Ausburn and Georgia (Tyo) Knight, was a resident of Meeker. He married Lavelma Brown on June 15, 1946. She preceded him in death on May 18, 1995. He later married Edna Rippy on January 19, 1996. She also preceded him in death on June 10, 2009. Jack worked in manufacturing with International Environmental Corp. and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Meeker. His parents; son, David Maddox; brothers and sisters; and a great-grandson also preceded Jack in death.
Jack is survived by; sons and daughters-in-law, J.D. and Shirley Knight of Meeker, Anthony & Susan Knight of Choctaw; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Jay Fauchier of McLoud, Marilyn and J.R. Hembree of Nicoma Park; brother, Claud Knight of Sparks; sisters, Mildred Griffith of Harrah, Pauline Hawthorne of Choctaw; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren 1 great-great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Meeker with Rev. Joe Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Garden in Oklahoma City.
