Floyd Hutcheson

March 20, 1932 - March 12, 2017

Floyd Hutcheson of Midwest City, Oklahoma, age 84, passed away on March 12, 2017. He was born on March 20, 1932 to parents Wesley and Letha Hutcheson in Lisbon, Ohio. He graduated from David Anderson High School in Lisbon, Ohio in 1950 and lived there until 1952. Born in to a family of seven, he was preceded in death by his six siblings. He married his longtime sweetheart, Joyce Mahon of East Palestine, Ohio on June 19, 1953 and from their marriage came three children: daughter, Janice, and sons, David and Daniel. Floyd served in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years during the Korean War period. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement in 1987. He is survived by his wife Joyce of 63 years; daughter Jan Hinton (Larry) of Moore; sons, David (Cindy - deceased) of Harrah and Daniel (Mhing) of Midwest City; grandchildren, Mark, Jamie (Justin), Lindsey, Andrew, Asia, Debi (John), and Bryan (Dayme); and great-grandchildren, Garrett, Blake, Brinlee, Eden, Ella, and Avyn. Visitation will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 12pm-8pm at Ford Funeral Service, with family present from 6pm-8pm. Graveside services will be 2pm Friday, March 17, 2017 at Arlington Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
