William Albert Hutchens

12/30/1933-6/11/2017

William (Bill) Hutchens passed away on June 11, 2017 after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born December 30, 1933 in Enid, to Klondus R. Hutchens and Edna N. Hutchens (Mansfield). He graduated from Choctaw High School in the class of 1951. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from General Motors after 18 years. He is survived by his seven children: William Jr. (Vikki) Hutchens, Sandra (Larry) Murrell, Richard (Virginia) Hutchens, Elizabeth (Richard) Williams, Robert Hutchens, Patty (John) Cline, and Rita (David) Sexton. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Nina (Blessing) one granddaughter, Shellie Hutchens Killian and survived by grandchildren: Daniel (Christie)and David Hutchens; Jenniffer (Robert) Tharp and Jessie Hutchens; Hunter Williams; Kevin (Desiree) and Brittany Hutchens; Danielle (Chris) Plemons, Cody, and Shane Cline; and Tiffany (Jason) Simmons. Also, he had great grandchildren Matt and Emily Plemons and Kynli and Kambri Hutchens, Jacob and William Tharp and Matthew Hutchens. He is also survived by one brother, Kenneth (Sue) Hutchens. He was preceded in death by his parents Klondus & Edna, and brothers Thomas E. Hutchens, Klondus R. Hutchens.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
His funeral will be held at Candlewood Chapel
2:00 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2017
Services will be provided by Ford Funeral Home
