Mildred Irene Hartman

February 22, 1931 - August 10, 2008

Mildred Irene (Hicks) Hartman, 77, of Midwest City died August 10, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family. Born February 22, 1931 in Wayne, Oklahoma to Luther A. and Edith Hicks. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Joe Kelley and daughter, Gina. She is survived by her husband, Jay Dee of the home; her daughters: Mary Edwards and husband Bob of Edmond and Gail Buchanan and husband Eddy of Oklahoma City; brother, L.A. Hicks and wife Kathy of Ft. Worth, Tx; grandchildren: Gina Cheatham and husband Chad of Edmond, Bryan York and wife Emily of Edmond and Bethanne Edwards of Edmond; great grandchildren: Jack and Alex Cheatham as well as many other family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at First Christian Church of Midwest City (Reno & Anderson) with interment following at Arlington Memory Gardens.
